The US National Endowment for the Humanities funds professional development in the humanities for K-12 teachers and university faculty through its Landmarks of American History and Culture and Summer Institutes programme. US government agencies, public and private universities, and 501(c)(3) nonprofits may apply for grants up to 460,000 US dollars by 9 December 2026.

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Division of Lifelong Learning is accepting applications for the Landmarks of American History and Culture and Summer Institutes program. The purpose of this program is to support humanities education through professional development for K-12 teachers and higher education faculty members.
